This is a unique and beautiful Victorian vintage antique metal picture button featuring a musical cherub. The button has a double wire shank, round shape, and antique gold/brass color. It is made of brass and is suitable for button collecting. The back has a dent and punctured two holes in it as shown in the photos.
The button is a vintage original from the time period of 1930-now and is not a modified item. The country/region of manufacture is unknown.
It is shown on page 446, plate 188-9, in The Big Book of Buttons (BBB). It measures exactly 1.429” (36.31 mm) in diameter and it comes from a smoke free, pet free environment.
